It’s gonna look nice at my new place
Over by my favorite restroom fixture
Ya, I got a pretty picture

I got a pretty picture of your house
Took it just before you threw me out
My mama said to leave ‘cause you’re never gonna fix her
But I got a pretty picture

Had me enough of this reality love, I’d say
It’s just another Candid Camera day
About time that we snap it and walk away
Take one, two, three, four….

Seems our love is much better left on film
You smile, and it’s easier on my bills
Video, digital, even stills
I’m already feelin’ richer

Snap shot, take a lot, stick ‘em in a book or frame
Have a drink and then forget you ever knew my name
Love’s nice, but a photo isn’t half the pain
Shoot fast, take my picture

I found a pretty picture from the beach
The day you said you’d love me and you’d never cheat
And you’d never ever sin ‘cause you read it in the scripture
At least I got a pretty picture

I even got a shot of your birthday suit
When we were makin’ love, until you puked
I know it wasn’t me, so it must have been the liquor
At least I got a pretty picture
